Bottega Veneta celebrate their new home at NYFW

For this one season only Bottega Veneta brought their FW18 runway show to New York to celebrate their new home the Maison at Madison Avenue.

The collection was presented on a residential set designed in collaboration with Tony-award winning scenic designer Scott Pask. The space featured important pieces of mid-century Italian design, including chairs by Gio Ponti and Gianfranco Frattini’s “Sesann” chairs mixed with Bottega Veneta furniture.

The collection is very Velvet and satin heavy yet the FW18 collection is very comfortable and flowy.  Loose fitted overalls, skirts, gowns and pants.  I love the mix of patterns and their balance of comfortable wearability, impeccable craftsmanship and top luxuriousness.
